“I wanted to come to Gully because I remember them as a powerhouse of the league growing up as a kid in Victoria. Gully were always an extremely proud and successful club with a rich history. The club is in a fantastic place off the park we intend to match that success throughout the football department and to take this club back to the place we all know it should be at.
"Since I‘ve been at the club I have been very impressed with the passion, dedication and professionalism of everyone involved in the club, the supporters as well. Myself and Stephen Downes intend to repay the club with success on the pitch.”
The club is delighted to have Laurie to Gully, and wishes him well throughout his time as assistant coach.
