Dear Parents and Families,
 
Our Green Gully Academy is in its third term, and we are delighted to see the success and enjoyment that has come from it. Between developing our own kids and using the academy as a platform to give players a pathway into our Green Gully teams, Mark and Ryan have done an amazing job leading this Saturday morning programme at Green Gully Reserve.
 
Following our Green Gully Curriculum, these sessions have had great feedback from players and parents, and we hope to continue to grow this programme as we prepare for next season and the 2026 club model structure. The Academy is now going to be open for all kids from ages of 4 to 16. This is to allow high quality training for all interested. 

In term 4 we hope to see you all there on Saturday mornings with sessions starting at 9 am and running till 10.30 am. With it being the off season and preparing for next year, this is a great way to keep your skills and mind sharp at least once a week, with top level coaching, and challenging sessions. This is a programme we are happy to now say we will be running year round, on the Saturday mornings of the school term.

Jono Sant, our miniroos TD will be transitioning into Academy lead coach in term 4. Jono is an A license coach and has vast experience in this type of role. He is very excited to continue on the great work Mark and Ryan have done, and to grow this programme to the next level in term 4 and in 2026. Jono is also working as our U18s NPL coach for 2026 following a successful stint as our U19s NPL coach in 2025, where he showed his quality as a coach. Before coming to Gully, Jono worked in the City Football Group for 7 years in different countries where he has built and grown successful and competitive programmes, which he now is eager to do here with us at Green Gully. We are committed to making this a strong development programme where we can develop the players and individuals and set them up for success in their footballing journey.
